A creamy and fragrant pumpkin spice white hot chocolate that combines the sweetness of white chocolate with comforting pumpkin pie spices, perfect for cozy fall days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of whole milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Heat over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in 1/3 cup of pumpkin puree and whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Add 1 cup of white chocolate chips and stir constantly until melted and smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Lower the heat slightly if needed.
  4. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice mix and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.
  5. Continue heating the mixture until itโ€™s hot but not boiling. Steam should begin to rise, and the texture should be creamy.
  6. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or crushed graham crackers for a fun twist.

Notes

Use low heat to prevent the white chocolate from scorching. Customize the spice level to your taste, and consider doubling the batch for larger gatherings. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently on the stovetop.
