A creamy, velvety hot chocolate infused with pumpkin spice and white chocolate, perfect for cozy autumn evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended, or almond/oat/coconut milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of milk and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until warm, but not boiling (about 3-4 minutes).
  2. Add 1/2 cup white chocolate chips to the saucepan. Stir continuously with a whisk until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and stir in 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whisk until all the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Continue heating for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
  5. Carefully ladle the hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and any extra white chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

For a frothy texture, blend the finished hot chocolate in a blender. Adjust the pumpkin puree or spice level to suit your taste.
