Aperol Spritz Recipe - featured image

A quick and easy sparkling summer cocktail combining Aperol, Prosecco, soda water, and a fresh orange slice for a refreshing bittersweet flavor perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) Prosecco, chilled
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) Aperol
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) soda water or sparkling water
  • 1 fresh orange slice
  • Ice cubes (4 to 5 large pieces)

Instructions

  1. Fill your wine glass generously with large ice cubes (about 4 to 5 pieces).
  2. Pour 3 ounces (90 ml) of chilled Prosecco over the ice gently.
  3. Add 2 ounces (60 ml) of Aperol slowly to preserve carbonation.
  4. Top with 1 ounce (30 ml) of soda water or sparkling water.
  5. Gently stir the drink with a spoon or stirrer to combine without losing bubbles.
  6. Garnish with a fresh orange slice on the rim or dropped into the glass.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Chill Prosecco and glass before making the cocktail. Use large ice cubes to slow dilution. Stir gently to preserve bubbles. Adjust ratios to taste. Add simple syrup if a sweeter spritz is desired. For non-alcoholic version, substitute Prosecco with sparkling white grape juice and Aperol with a non-alcoholic bitter orange aperitif.
