A quick and easy summer cocktail combining sweet tea, lemonade, vodka, and fresh blackberries for a light, fruity, and thirst-quenching drink perfect for gatherings or solo relaxation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh blackberries (or thawed frozen blackberries)
  • 4 cups (950ml) brewed and cooled sweet tea
  • 2 cups (475ml) lemonade, fresh or store-bought
  • 1 1/2 cups (355ml) vodka
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew 4 cups (950ml) of black tea using tea bags or loose leaves. Steep for 5-7 minutes, sweeten while warm if desired, then cool completely.
  2. Rinse 1 cup (150g) of fresh blackberries. Lightly muddle about half in the bottom of a large pitcher to release juices, leaving some whole for texture and garnish.
  3. Pour the cooled sweet tea and 2 cups (475ml) of lemonade into the pitcher over the muddled blackberries. Add 1 1/2 cups (355ml) vodka.
  4. Taste the mixture and stir in 1/4 cup (60ml) simple syrup gradually if a sweeter drink is preferred.
  5. Fill the pitcher with ice cubes to chill. Add lemon slices and the remaining blackberries for garnish. Optionally add fresh mint sprigs.
  6. Gently stir everything to blend flavors. Serve immediately over ice in glasses.

Notes

Do not over-muddle blackberries to avoid bitterness and cloudiness. Use fresh lemonade for best brightness. Chill tea and lemonade before mixing to keep the drink cold longer. Adjust sweetness last to avoid over-sweetening. Let the pitcher rest in the fridge for 20-30 minutes before serving for fuller blackberry infusion. Store leftovers covered in the fridge up to 24 hours; stir before serving again. Avoid freezing.
