A simple and refreshing beer cocktail combining Blue Moon Belgian White beer with a fresh orange slice, perfect for casual gatherings or unwinding after work.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fl oz (355 ml) Blue Moon Belgian White Beer
  • 1 medium fresh orange slice (about 1/4 inch thick)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your Blue Moon beer in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until cold but not freezing (about 38โ€“42ยฐF / 3โ€“6ยฐC).
  2. Rinse a ripe orange under cold water and cut a medium-thick slice (about 1/4 inch / 6 mm) on a cutting board. Remove any seeds carefully.
  3. Optional: Add 2-3 ice cubes to your glass if you prefer your drink chilled, but avoid overfilling.
  4. Hold your glass at a 45-degree angle and pour the Blue Moon beer slowly to preserve carbonation and create a nice foam head. Fill about 3/4 full.
  5. Gently place the orange slice on the rim or drop it inside the glass to float near the surface.
  6. Let the cocktail rest for about 30 seconds to meld the flavors and intensify the aroma.
  7. Enjoy immediately, sipping slowly to appreciate the blend of wheat beer and citrus.

Notes

Pour beer slowly at a 45-degree angle to preserve carbonation and foam. Avoid squeezing the orange slice unless a stronger citrus flavor is desired. Use fresh, ripe oranges for best flavor. Chill the glass for a colder drink. Avoid too much ice to prevent watering down the beer.
