A simple, quick, and refreshing chlorophyll water recipe that delivers natural hydration with a subtle earthy freshness, enhanced by lemon and optional mint or cucumber.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 liter (4 cups) filtered or spring water
  • 12 teaspoons (510 ml) liquid chlorophyll drops
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 46 fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Optional: a few thin cucumber slices
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey or agave syrup

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 liter (4 cups) of filtered water into a large pitcher or bottle. Use cold water for best refreshment.
  2. Add 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) of liquid chlorophyll drops to the water, starting with 1 teaspoon and adjusting to taste.
  3. Squeeze 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of fresh lemon juice into the pitcher and stir well.
  4. Add 4-6 fresh mint leaves and/or thin cucumber slices if desired, and stir gently to combine.
  5. Add ice cubes to chill the water or pour into glasses over ice.
  6. Let the chlorophyll water sit for at least 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing, natural hydration.
  8. Store any leftovers covered in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.

Notes

Use cold filtered water for best taste. Start with 1 teaspoon chlorophyll drops and adjust to avoid bitterness. Fresh lemon juice is key for balancing flavor. Let the water infuse for at least 5 minutes or chill for 30 minutes for stronger flavor. Avoid shaking vigorously to prevent foam. Consume within 24 hours and do not freeze.
