A quick and easy tropical smoothie blending frozen dragon fruit with creamy coconut milk and natural sweeteners, perfect for a refreshing summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen dragon fruit (puree packs or cubes)
  • 1 cup (240ml) full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk (can substitute oat milk or regular milk)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon white dragon fruit or pitaya powder for extra sweetness and color

Instructions

  1. Measure out all ingredients: 1 cup frozen dragon fruit, 1 cup full-fat coconut milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar, 1/2 cup ice cubes, and 1/2 cup almond milk.
  2. Add frozen dragon fruit and coconut milk to a high-speed blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add honey and vanilla extract, then blend again for 15 seconds to balance tartness and add warmth.
  4. Add ice cubes and almond milk. Pulse and blend on high for another 30 seconds until chilled and smooth.
  5. Check consistency and taste. If too thick, add more almond milk; if too thin, add more frozen dragon fruit or ice and blend briefly.
  6. Pour into a glass or mason jar. Garnish with fresh dragon fruit slice or mint if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen dragon fruit for best texture and chill without dilution. Adjust sweetness and vanilla to taste. For thicker smoothie, add more frozen fruit or reduce almond milk. Can add protein powder or greens for variations. Consume immediately or store in fridge up to 24 hours, stir before serving.
