A vibrant, icy twist on the classic Aperol Spritz, blending Aperol, prosecco, fresh orange juice, and ice into a refreshing frozen cocktail perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) Aperol
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) dry, chilled prosecco
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 2 cups (about 300 grams) ice cubes
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) soda water (optional)
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • ยฝ ounce (15 ml) simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and chill your prosecco for at least 2 hours.
  2. Squeeze fresh oranges to obtain about 2 ounces (60 ml) of juice; strain if desired.
  3. Add Aperol, fresh orange juice, and optional simple syrup into your blender.
  4. Pour in 2 cups (about 300 grams) of ice cubes.
  5. Pulse blend on medium speed for 20-30 seconds until smooth and slushy; pulse more if needed.
  6. Slowly stream in the chilled prosecco while blending on low to combine without flattening the fizz.
  7. Pour into glasses immediately.
  8. Top with a splash of soda water if desired and garnish with a fresh orange slice.
  9. Serve right away to enjoy the icy, bubbly texture.

Notes

Keep all ingredients cold for best icy texture. Pulse blend in short bursts to avoid melting ice. Adjust sweetness gradually with simple syrup. Garnish last minute to prevent sogginess. For uneven ice crushing, blend half the ice first, then add the rest.
