A quick and easy frozen blueberry vodka lemonade slushie that’s perfect for summer parties and backyard hangouts, blending tart lemonade with sweet blueberries and smooth vodka for a refreshing icy drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) vodka
  • 2 cups (300 g) frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups (480 ml) lemonade
  • 12 tablespoons (1530 ml) honey or simple syrup (optional)
  • 1 to 2 cups (120240 g) ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: Measure out 1 cup (240 ml) of vodka, 2 cups (300 g) of frozen blueberries, 2 cups (480 ml) of lemonade, and 1-2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) of honey or simple syrup if using. Have 1-2 cups (120-240 g) of ice cubes ready.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries and lemonade into the blender first. Pulse a few times to break down the berries.
  3. Pour in the vodka and honey/simple syrup. Blend on high for about 20-30 seconds until smooth but still thick.
  4. Add ice cubes gradually and pulse in short bursts to maintain a slushy texture. Avoid continuous blending to prevent melting.
  5. Check consistency: The mixture should be thick enough to hold its shape but easy to sip. If too thick, add a splash more lemonade; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
  6. Stir in 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon zest for extra brightness.
  7. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves or a thin lemon slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use a high-quality lemonade for best flavor. Add ice gradually to control slushie texture and avoid over-blending to prevent melting. Frozen blueberries should be separated before blending to avoid clumps. For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and add sparkling water or club soda.
