frozen cherry daiquiri recipe - featured image

A quick and easy 3-ingredient frozen cherry daiquiri recipe perfect for summer parties, featuring a smooth, vibrant blend of white rum, frozen Bing cherries, and fresh lime juice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 cup frozen Bing cherries (unsweetened)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Optional garnish: fresh cherries (pitted), lime wedges, mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Measure 2 oz white rum and 1 oz fresh lime juice. Prepare simple syrup if using by dissolving equal parts sugar and water over low heat, then cool.
  2. Place 1 cup frozen Bing cherries into the blender. Add 1 tbsp simple syrup if a sweeter drink is desired.
  3. Pour the rum and lime juice over the cherries.
  4. Add 1 cup crushed ice to the blender.
  5. Pulse the blender on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and frothy, with a thick but pourable consistency. Adjust thickness by adding water, lime juice, cherries, or ice as needed.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup, rum, or a pinch of sugar, blending briefly again.
  7. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a fresh cherry, lime wedge, or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Use crushed ice instead of cubes for a smooth, slushy texture. Frozen Bing cherries are preferred for natural sweetness and rich flavor. Chill ingredients and glassware beforehand for best results. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup or natural sweeteners. For a non-alcoholic version, omit rum and add sparkling water or cherry juice.
