A quick and easy homemade summer drink blending frozen peaches, prosecco, lemon juice, and ice into a cool, bubbly slushie perfect for hot days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) sliced frozen peaches
  • 1 cup (240ml) chilled prosecco or any dry sparkling wine
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) simple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup (about 120g) ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 2 cups (300g) of frozen peach slices and 1 cup (240ml) of chilled prosecco. Squeeze 1 tablespoon (15ml) of fresh lemon juice using a citrus juicer, removing any seeds.
  2. Place the frozen peaches, prosecco, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons (30ml) of simple syrup or honey, and 1 cup (120g) of ice cubes into the blender.
  3. Pulse the mixture on medium speed first to break up the ice, then increase to high speed for about 30 seconds or until the texture is smooth but still slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more prosecco or a little water; if itโ€™s too thin, add more frozen peaches or ice cubes.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon flavor as needed by adding more simple syrup, honey, or lemon juice and pulse briefly again.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses immediately and garnish with fresh mint leaves or a thin peach slice on the rim.

Notes

Use frozen peaches for best icy texture; chill prosecco before blending to slow ice melting. Pulse ice and fruit first to avoid overheating the blender. Serve immediately to maintain slush texture. For non-alcoholic version, substitute prosecco with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda. Garnish with fresh mint or peach slice for presentation.
