A bright, tart, and sweet frozen summer drink blending rosé wine, pink lemonade, and fresh strawberries for a refreshing and easy-to-make cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 750 ml chilled dry or semi-dry rosé wine (about 3 cups)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) pink lemonade, preferably freshly made or high-quality store-bought
  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups (about 480 g) ice cubes
  • 23 tablespoons simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your rosé in the freezer for about 2 hours until very cold but not frozen solid.
  2. Hull and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries; cut large berries into quarters for even blending.
  3. In a blender, combine 2 cups pink lemonade, about 3 cups chilled rosé, sliced strawberries, and 2 cups ice cubes. Add simple syrup if desired.
  4. Blend in short bursts until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 1 to 2 minutes. Adjust texture by adding more ice if too thin or more rosé/lemonade if too thick.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup, lemonade, or a splash of fresh lemon juice.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with fresh mint and a whole strawberry on the rim.
  7. Optional: Freeze leftovers in an airtight container. Thaw for 10 minutes and stir or pulse in the blender before serving again.

Notes

Freeze rosé for about 2 hours to get it icy cold but not solid. Use ripe, firm strawberries for best flavor and texture. Blend in short bursts to avoid melting the ice too much. Adjust sweetness carefully depending on the tartness of your lemonade. Garnish with fresh mint and strawberry for a special touch. For a non-alcoholic version, replace rosé with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
