A quick and easy frozen strawberry daiquiri pitcher recipe perfect for grad parties, featuring a smooth, tangy, and sweet slushy texture made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (600g) frozen strawberries
  • 1ยฝ cups (360ml) white rum
  • ยฝ cup (120ml) fresh lime juice
  • ยฝ cup (120ml) simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until dissolved)
  • 2 cups (480ml) ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh strawberry slices, lime wedges, mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Prepare simple syrup by combining ยฝ cup sugar and ยฝ cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves completely, then cool to room temperature (about 10 minutes).
  2. Juice about 4 to 5 fresh limes to yield ยฝ cup (120ml) of fresh lime juice. Strain seeds for a smooth drink.
  3. In a high-powered blender, add 4 cups frozen strawberries, 1ยฝ cups white rum, ยฝ cup fresh lime juice, ยฝ cup simple syrup, and 2 cups ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth and slushy, about 1 to 2 minutes. If too thick, add a splash of water or more rum to loosen.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a serving pitcher. Stir gently with a long spoon to mix any thicker parts evenly.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or lime wedges and serve immediately with chilled glasses.

Notes

For best texture, blend all ingredients except ice ahead of time and add ice just before serving. Use frozen strawberries for icy texture; fresh strawberries can be used but require more ice. Adjust sweetness with lime juice or simple syrup. Chill pitcher and glasses before serving. Blend in manageable portions to avoid large ice chunks.
