A quick and easy tropical smoothie combining frozen strawberries and mango with fresh lime juice and coconut water for a refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (225 g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cups (225 g) frozen mango chunks
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) coconut water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons (510 ml) honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • A few fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and measure all ingredients: frozen strawberries, frozen mango chunks, fresh lime juice, coconut water, and optional honey or agave syrup.
  2. Add frozen strawberries and mango to the blender. For extra thick texture, add ice cubes if desired.
  3. Pour in the coconut water. For a richer taste, substitute half with coconut milk.
  4. Add fresh lime juice to brighten the flavor.
  5. Optionally add honey or agave syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
  6. Secure the lid and blend on high for 45-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  7. Check consistency and adjust by adding more coconut water if too thick or more frozen fruit/ice if too thin.
  8. Pour into glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint or a lime wedge.

Notes

Use ripe frozen fruit for best flavor. Pulse frozen fruit first to avoid motor strain. Adjust liquid to achieve desired consistency. Fresh lime juice is essential for brightness. Optional sweetener can be omitted if fruit is ripe enough. For a creamier texture, substitute some coconut water with coconut milk. Store leftovers in freezer and reblend before serving.
