A bright and lively homemade summer drink combining tropical mango, floral dragon fruit, and zesty lemon juice, perfect for cooling off on hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium-sized dragon fruit, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey or agave syrup
  • 3 cups (720 ml) cold water or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes and dragon fruit into small chunks.
  2. Roll lemons on the counter, cut, and juice to get about 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice. Strain seeds if needed.
  3. Add chopped mango, dragon fruit, lemon juice, and honey (or syrup) to a blender. Blend until smooth but slightly textured.
  4. Pour the fruit puree into a large pitcher. Add 3 cups (720 ml) cold water or sparkling water and stir gently.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour lemonade over, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
