A quick and easy tropical slushie blending frozen mango, pineapple, lime juice, and ice for a refreshing summer drink that’s creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup (165g) fresh or canned pineapple tidbits (in juice, not syrup)
  • 1 to 1.5 cups (240-360ml) ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) cold water or coconut water

Instructions

  1. Measure 2 cups (300g) of frozen mango chunks, 1 cup (165g) pineapple, 1 to 1.5 cups (240-360ml) ice cubes, 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lime juice, and optional 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar.
  2. Place the frozen mango and pineapple into the blender jar first.
  3. Pour in lime juice and 1/4 cup (60ml) cold water or coconut water.
  4. Add ice cubes last to allow the blender to crush them effectively.
  5. Blend starting on low speed, then ramp up to high for about 45 seconds to 1 minute until smooth and pourable with no large ice chunks.
  6. Taste and add honey or agave if needed. If too thick, add a splash more water and pulse again briefly.
  7. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a lime wedge or pineapple slice if desired.

Notes

If your blender struggles with ice, let frozen fruit thaw for a few minutes before blending. Pulse in short bursts to avoid overheating the motor. Adjust ice quantity for preferred thickness. Use ripe frozen mango for best flavor and texture. Skip honey or agave for a sugar-free version. Fresh lime juice is key for brightness.
