orange crush punch recipe - featured image

A quick and easy fizzy orange punch perfect for game day or casual gatherings, combining orange soda, fresh juices, and optional vanilla vodka for a refreshing crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fl oz (355 ml) orange soda (e.g., Fanta or Sanpellegrino Aranciata)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) vanilla vodka (optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill all your ingredients: orange soda, lemon-lime soda, and juices for about 15 minutes.
  2. If using fresh oranges, roll them on the counter, cut in half, and juice until you get about 1 cup (240 ml). Strain to remove seeds and pulp if preferred.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the fresh orange juice and pineapple juice. Stir gently to blend.
  4. Slowly pour in the orange soda and lemon-lime soda. Stir carefully to preserve the fizz.
  5. If using vanilla vodka, add it now and stir gently. Skip this step for a kid-friendly version.
  6. Fill the pitcher about halfway with ice cubes to chill the punch without diluting it too fast.
  7. Garnish with orange slices and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately for best fizz and freshness.

Notes

[‘Use cold ingredients to avoid watery punch from excess ice.’, ‘Stir gently to keep soda fizz intact.’, ‘Fresh-squeezed orange juice adds brightness over bottled juice.’, ‘Adjust sweetness by swapping some orange soda for sparkling water or diet soda.’, ‘Prepare juice mixture ahead and add sodas and ice just before serving to keep fizz fresh.’, ‘Serve immediately for best flavor and carbonation.’]
