A bright and bubbly peach punch perfect for summer gatherings, balancing juicy peaches with sparkling wine for a refreshing crowd-pleaser.

  • 2 medium fresh peaches, thinly sliced for garnish
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) Prosecco or any sparkling wine, chilled
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peach schnapps (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) simple syrup, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes, about 3 cups (700 g)
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach purée: Peel and pit 2 large peaches, then blend until smooth to measure 1 cup (240 ml) purée. If using store-bought, stir well.
  2. Mix the base: In a large punch bowl, combine peach purée, peach schnapps (if using), fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently to blend flavors without losing fizz.
  3. Add fresh peaches: Thinly slice 2 medium peaches and add to the punch bowl for garnish and flavor.
  4. Chill: Add about 3 cups (700 g) of ice cubes to keep the punch cool. Prepare up to 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Add sparkling wine: Just before serving, pour in 1 bottle (750 ml) of chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine. Stir gently to combine without flattening bubbles.
  6. Top off with club soda: Add 1 cup (240 ml) of club soda or sparkling water for extra fizz. Stir gently once more.
  7. Garnish and serve: Float fresh mint leaves on top. Ladle punch into glasses, ensuring each has peach slices and mint.

Notes

Add sparkling wine last and stir gently to preserve bubbles. Use fresh lemon juice for brightness. Freeze peach slices as ice cubes to keep punch cold without dilution. Prepare non-alcoholic version by substituting sparkling white grape juice and peach nectar for alcoholic ingredients.
