peach sangria pitcher recipe - featured image

A quick and easy peach sangria recipe perfect for summer parties, combining fresh peaches, dry white wine, citrus, and a splash of sparkling water for a light, refreshing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 3 medium ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peach schnapps (optional but recommended)
  • 1 medium orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 small lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water, chilled
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves, torn

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the peaches, orange, and lemon into thin rounds or half-moons. Remove pits from peaches carefully and toss the fruit gently in a large pitcher.
  2. Pour in the entire bottle of white wine and the peach schnapps. Stir in the simple syrup to balance the tartness.
  3. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2, to let the flavors meld.
  4. Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water and add torn mint leaves. Stir gently to combine without flattening the bubbles.
  5. Serve over ice cubes in glasses, ensuring each serving has plenty of fruit slices and mint. Garnish with a mint sprig or peach slice if desired.

Notes

Let the sangria chill for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep the fizz. For less sweetness, reduce or omit simple syrup and peach schnapps. Use frozen peach slices or grapes as ice cubes to keep the drink cold without dilution.
