A light, bubbly, and refreshing summer cocktail combining sweet pink Moscato wine with fresh strawberries and soda water for an easy, crowd-pleasing spritzer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled Pink Moscato Wine
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup chilled soda water
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hull them, and slice into halves or quarters. Place them in a mixing pitcher or large glass.
  2. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the strawberries to release their juice but keep some chunks for texture.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Slowly pour in the entire bottle (750 ml) of chilled pink Moscato wine. Stir gently to blend without losing bubbles.
  5. Top off with 1 cup of chilled soda water and add ice cubes to keep it cool.
  6. Give a gentle stir to marry all flavors. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup or lemon juice if desired.
  7. Pour into individual glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a strawberry slice on the rim.

Notes

Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for best flavor. Chill all ingredients and glasses beforehand. Muddle strawberries gently to avoid a cloudy drink. Stir gently after adding soda water to preserve fizz. Adjust sweetness last based on Moscato sweetness. Simple syrup is optional and can be replaced with natural sweeteners like agave nectar.
