A fun and easy party drink combining rosé wine and gummy bears into boozy, chewy shots perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 750 ml Rosé Wine (dry or semi-dry, e.g., Whispering Angel)
  • 3 packets (about 21 grams) Unflavored Gelatin Powder
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) Cold Water
  • 2 cups (300 grams) Assorted Gummy Bears
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Agave Syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Pour 3/4 cup (180 ml) cold water into a small bowl. Sprinkle 3 packets (about 21 grams) of unflavored gelatin evenly over the surface. Let sit for 5 minutes until gelatin absorbs water and becomes spongy.
  2. Pour 750 ml rosé wine into a small saucepan. Gently warm over low heat for 3-4 minutes, do not boil.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm rosé and whisk continuously until completely dissolved and smooth.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional) and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. Place about 2 cups (300 grams) of gummy bears evenly into silicone shot molds or mini cupcake molds.
  6. Carefully pour the rosé-gelatin mixture over the gummy bears, filling each cavity to the top.
  7. Transfer molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.
  8. Gently pop the shots out of the silicone molds. If they stick, briefly dip the bottom of the mold in warm water to loosen.

Notes

Bloom gelatin properly to avoid lumps. Use low heat to preserve rosé flavor. Silicone molds recommended for easy removal. Chill shots overnight for best texture. For non-alcoholic version, substitute rosé with sparkling white grape juice. Avoid flavored gelatin to keep clean taste.
