A quick, festive, and refreshing sparkling punch featuring berry-infused ice cubes that add bursts of flavor and a patriotic red, white, and blue vibe. Perfect for summer celebrations and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh blueberries (firm, plump)
  • Fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 3 cups (720 ml) sparkling water (plain or lemon-flavored)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) white grape juice or apple juice
  • Juice of one medium lemon (about 2 tablespoons or 30 ml)
  • 1โ€“2 tablespoons (15โ€“30 ml) honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Filtered water (for ice cubes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the berry ice cubes: Wash blueberries and strawberries thoroughly. Hull and slice strawberries thinly. Fill each ice cube compartment halfway with a mix of berries (about 1โ€“2 berries per cube), then top off with filtered water. Freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  2. Mix the punch base: In a large pitcher, combine 3 cups (720 ml) sparkling water with 1 cup (240 ml) white grape juice and the juice of one medium lemon (about 2 tablespoons or 30 ml). Stir gently to combine. If desired, add 1โ€“2 tablespoons (15โ€“30 ml) honey or agave syrup and stir until dissolved.
  3. Assemble the punch: Just before serving, add about 2 cups (approximately 30 cubes) of the berry ice cubes to the pitcher. Gently stir once to distribute the cubes without breaking them.
  4. Serve: Pour into glasses, ensuring each serving gets some berry ice cubes. Garnish with a lemon slice or fresh mint if desired.

Notes

Add sparkling water last and stir gently to preserve fizz. Make berry ice cubes ahead to save time. Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Avoid pressing ice cubes to melt faster to prevent watering down the punch. Boil and cool water before freezing for clearer ice cubes. Adjust sweetness to taste before chilling.
