  • A small handful of mint leaves, washed and gently bruised
  • 2 cups (300 g) ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling wine or vodka for an adult version

Instructions

  1. Chill peach nectar and sparkling water in the fridge for at least 2 hours before making the punch.
  2. Wash and thinly slice the fresh peaches about ยผ inch thick.
  3. Gently bruise the mint leaves to release aroma without shredding.
  4. In a large punch bowl, pour 4 cups peach nectar and 4 cups sparkling water.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice to the punch bowl.
  6. Add sliced peaches and bruised mint leaves; stir gently to mix flavors without breaking the fruit.
  7. Add about 2 cups of ice cubes to keep the punch cold.
  8. Optional: Pour 1 cup sparkling wine or vodka into the punch and stir lightly to combine.
  9. Let the punch sit for 5 minutes before serving to allow flavors to mingle.
  10. Ladle into glasses, ensuring each serving has peach slices and a mint leaf.
