A bright, bubbly, and balanced summer cocktail combining vodka, strawberry lemonade, and sparkling water for a refreshing and festive drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced or halved
  • 1 cup (240 ml) vodka
  • 4 cups (960 ml) lemonade
  • 2 cups (480 ml) sparkling water, plain or lemon-flavored
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using fresh strawberries, rinse and slice about 2 cups (300 grams). If frozen, no need to thaw; just measure and set aside.
  2. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine 4 cups (960 ml) of lemonade and 1 cup (240 ml) vodka. Stir gently to blend.
  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lemon juice and stir again.
  4. Taste the mixture and add up to 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of simple syrup if you prefer it sweeter. Stir well and taste again.
  5. Slowly pour in 2 cups (480 ml) of chilled sparkling water. Stir gently to keep the bubbles lively.
  6. Add the sliced or frozen strawberries and enough ice cubes to fill the pitcher or bowl nicely.
  7. Garnish with a handful of fresh mint leaves and serve immediately in chilled glasses.

Notes

Add sparkling water slowly and stir gently to keep the fizz. Frozen strawberries chill the punch without diluting it. Adjust sweetness gradually with simple syrup. Let punch sit 10-15 minutes before serving for flavors to mingle but serve soon to keep fizz.
