A colorful and refreshing punch featuring red, white, and blue popsicles melting into sparkling lemonade and cranberry juice, perfect for summer parties and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 red popsicles (cherry or strawberry flavor)
  • 2 blue popsicles (blue raspberry flavor)
  • 2 white popsicles (lemon or coconut flavor)
  • 4 cups (960 ml) sparkling lemonade
  • 2 cups (480 ml) cranberry juice (100% juice, no added sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Optional: 1 cup (240 ml) vodka or white rum
  • Fresh berries or mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill the sparkling lemonade in the fridge for at least an hour.
  2. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine 4 cups sparkling lemonade and 2 cups cranberry juice. Stir gently.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and stir again.
  4. Carefully add 6 popsicles (2 red, 2 white, 2 blue) into the punch bowl. They will float and slowly melt.
  5. If desired, add 1 cup vodka or white rum and stir gently. Skip this step for a non-alcoholic version.
  6. Garnish with fresh berries and mint sprigs. Serve immediately or keep chilled for up to 2 hours.

Notes

Do not stir too aggressively after adding popsicles to keep their shape and allow gradual melting. Use well-chilled sparkling lemonade to keep the punch cool without diluting it with ice. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka or rum and add extra sparkling lemonade if desired. Use bright colored popsicles for best visual effect. Serve soon after mixing for best fizz and appearance.
