A quick and easy 3-ingredient homemade virgin strawberry daiquiri slush that’s refreshing, fruity, and perfect for hot afternoons or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300 grams) fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: rinse and hull if fresh; if frozen, measure and use directly.
  2. Juice the lime to get 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice.
  3. Make or measure simple syrup: dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in 1/4 cup hot water and let cool if homemade.
  4. Combine strawberries, lime juice, and simple syrup in the blender jar and secure the lid.
  5. Pulse to break down chunks, then blend on high for 30-45 seconds until thick and icy like a slush.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup or lime juice if needed, then blend briefly again.
  7. Serve immediately in tall glasses, garnished with a lime slice or fresh strawberry.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for best slush texture; if using fresh, add ice cubes. Avoid over-blending to maintain icy texture. Fresh lime juice is preferred over bottled for better flavor. Simple syrup can be substituted with honey or agave nectar but blends best. For a fizzy twist, add a splash of sparkling water before serving.
