A quick and easy iced vanilla latte made with creamy oat milk, espresso, and vanilla syrup. Refreshing and indulgent, perfect for warm weather or anytime you need a smooth coffee treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot (1 ounce / 30 ml) freshly brewed espresso or 1/4 cup (60 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup (240 ml) creamy oat milk, chilled (preferably barista-style)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (1530 ml) vanilla syrup
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish
  • Optional: splash of cold brew coffee for deeper flavor

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso: pull a fresh shot of espresso (1 ounce / 30 ml) or brew 1/4 cup (60 ml) of very strong coffee.
  2. Fill a tall glass with about 1 cup (240 ml) of ice cubes.
  3. Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) of vanilla syrup over the ice, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  4. Slowly pour the hot espresso over the ice and syrup.
  5. Add 1 cup (240 ml) of chilled oat milk over the espresso mixture.
  6. Stir gently with a long spoon until the vanilla syrup is fully mixed and the espresso and oat milk blend smoothly.
  7. Optional: sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg on top for a warming touch.

Notes

Use freshly brewed espresso for best flavor. Chill oat milk and glass beforehand to keep the drink cold longer. Use larger ice cubes to prevent quick dilution. Vanilla syrup can be substituted with vanilla extract mixed with sweetener. Prepare espresso and vanilla syrup in advance and refrigerate for up to 24 hours for convenience.
