A warm, smoky, and sweet latte featuring crispy bacon, pure maple syrup, and bold espressoโ€”perfect for cozy mornings or brunch indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 strips of smoked bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
  • 2 shots (or about 1/4 cup) of freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 cup of whole milk (or milk alternative like oat or almond milk)
  • A pinch of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Optional garnishes: crumbled bacon pieces, a drizzle of maple syrup, or a sprinkle of smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to cool. Crumble one strip for garnish.
  2. Prepare 2 shots of espresso using your machine or stovetop maker. If using coffee, brew about 1/4 cup of strong coffee.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until warm (but not boiling). Add the smoked paprika and vanilla extract, whisking to combine.
  4. Use a frother or whisk to create a thick, creamy froth. If using a blender, blend the milk for 30 seconds until frothy.
  5. Pour the maple syrup into your mug, then add the espresso. Slowly pour in the frothed milk, holding back the foam with a spoon and layering it on top at the end.
  6. Top with crumbled bacon pieces, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a sprinkle of smoked paprika for garnish.

Notes

[‘Use crispy bacon for better texture and flavor contrast.’, ‘Pure maple syrup enhances the sweetness without refined sugar.’, ‘Non-dairy milk alternatives like oat or almond milk work well for frothing.’, ‘Adjust smoked paprika to your taste for more or less smokiness.’]
