A fresh, fizzy, and festive cocktail combining crisp Prosecco with tart pomegranate juice and seeds, perfect for celebrations and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) Prosecco (preferably dry Brut)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) pomegranate juice, fresh or store-bought unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • ยฝ ounce (15 ml) orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau) – optional
  • ยฝ teaspoon (2.5 ml) fresh lime juice
  • ยฝ teaspoon (2.5 ml) simple syrup – optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish – optional

Instructions

  1. Carefully cut a fresh pomegranate and tap out about 1 tablespoon of seeds per glass. Set aside.
  2. Squeeze about ยฝ teaspoon (2.5 ml) of fresh lime juice into a small bowl or directly into the glass.
  3. Pour 1 ounce (30 ml) of pomegranate juice into the glass. Add orange liqueur and simple syrup if using.
  4. Gently stir the juices and syrup with a spoon or stirrer, being careful not to lose the bubbles.
  5. Slowly top the glass with 4 ounces (120 ml) of chilled Prosecco, pouring down the side to preserve fizz.
  6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, fresh mint leaves, and optionally a thin lime wheel on the rim.
  7. Serve immediately while sparkling fresh.

Notes

Use chilled Prosecco to keep bubbles lively. Stir gently to avoid flattening the drink. Fresh pomegranate seeds add crunch and bursts of juice. Adjust simple syrup and lime juice to taste. For non-alcoholic version, substitute Prosecco with sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling wine.
