A quick and easy refreshing summer drink blending frozen mixed berries with dry rosรฉ or light white wine, lemon juice, and simple syrup for a perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen mixed mountain berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup (240ml) dry rosรฉ or light white wine (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup (240g) ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 2 cups (300g) of frozen mixed mountain berries. If using fresh berries, wash and pat dry, then add extra ice cubes to compensate.
  2. Pour the frozen berries and 1 cup (240ml) of chilled dry rosรฉ or light white wine into the blender.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons (30ml) simple syrup. Adjust syrup after blending if needed.
  4. Add 1 cup (240g) of ice cubes to the blender.
  5. Pulse the blender on high for about 60 seconds until a thick, icy slush forms. Adjust consistency by adding more wine if too thick or more ice if too thin.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup or lemon juice as desired.
  7. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

If using fresh berries, add extra ice to maintain slushie texture. Pulse blender in short bursts if struggling with ice. Serve immediately for best texture. Can freeze leftovers up to 24 hours and re-blend before serving. For non-alcoholic version, substitute wine with sparkling grape juice or berry-flavored sparkling water.
