Vibrant Classic Mimosa Bar Recipe with 3 Fresh Juice Options

mimosa bar recipe - featured image

An easy and perfect mimosa bar setup featuring sparkling wine paired with three fresh juice optionsโ€”orange, grapefruit, and pineappleโ€”for a light, bubbly, and customizable brunch experience.

Ingredients

  • Dry or brut sparkling wine (e.g., Prosecco, Cava, Champagne)
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice (about 2 cups)
  • Fresh or bottled grapefruit juice (about 1 cup)
  • 100% pure pineapple juice (chilled)
  • Fresh fruit garnishes (optional: thin orange slices, grapefruit wedges, pineapple chunks)
  • Fresh herbs (optional: mint or rosemary sprigs)

Instructions

  1. Chill your sparkling wine in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours, ideally between 45-50ยฐF (7-10ยฐC).
  2. Juice fresh oranges and grapefruits using a citrus juicer to get about 2 cups of orange juice and 1 cup of grapefruit juice. If using bottled juices, chill them well before serving.
  3. Prepare pineapple juice by blending fresh pineapple chunks and straining or use pre-bottled pineapple juice chilled.
  4. Arrange the three juice options in clear pitchers or carafes. Place sparkling wine bottles on ice nearby. Set out garnishes like orange slices, grapefruit wedges, and pineapple chunks in small bowls.
  5. To serve, fill each flute or glass about halfway with the chosen juice, then gently top with sparkling wine, pouring slowly to preserve bubbles and avoid overflow.
  6. Garnish each glass with a slice of fresh fruit or a sprig of herb. Encourage guests to mix and match juices and garnishes to their liking.

Notes

Do not pre-mix mimosas to preserve bubbles; keep juices and sparkling wine separate until serving. Use freshly squeezed juices for best flavor. Keep all ingredients well chilled. Have extra bottles and juices on hand to avoid running out. Use a wine stopper to keep sparkling wine fresh if storing leftovers.
